Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Town). They came out on top against the Woodlawn Warriors by a score of 40-27 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Victor Jones had a dynamite game, rushing for 74 yards and two TDs.

New Town's run defense was locked in: Woodlawn could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The Titans' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.7.

New Town didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Amir Johnson and Michael Green.

The win made it two in a row for New Town and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.5 points over those games. As for Woodlawn, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

As of now, neither New Town nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
