Baseball Recap: Westran Takes a Loss

Salisbury hit Westran with a six-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets lost 11-1 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-8 last Tuesday.

Westran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Wohlgemuth, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Westran's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Salisbury, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

As of now, neither Westran nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
