Softball Recap: Golden Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Windsor

Golden faced Windsor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Demons came up short against the Wizards, falling 10-4. The match marked the Demons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Golden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariela Torres, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Golden's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Windsor, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Golden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Columbine on the 5th. As for Windsor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Eaglecrest on the 5th.
