West's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Lodi Flames by a score of 52-44. This was a revenge game for the Wolfpack: when they faced off against the Flames back in January, they had to take a 49-34 loss.

West's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Athena Pastran, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaliyah Byrd, who earned nine points and seven rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Lodi saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lillie Bayless had 21 points along with seven boards and five steals. With that strong performance, Bayless is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Sienna Aitken was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 15 rebounds and three steals.

West's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 8-17. As for Lodi, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-36 loss against Kimball on the 11th. Lodi has also already played their next matchup (against Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
