West Plains scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Lebanon Yellowjackets by a score of 9-8. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Molly Orr stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaylee Peterson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

West Plains' defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lebanon, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

As of now, neither West Plains nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
