Softball Recap: Pawnee Takes a Loss

Pawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stroud Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Black Bears of the 15-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Pawnee now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Stroud, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-22.

Pawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stroud, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-7 loss against Pawhuska on the 25th.
