Baseball Recap: Beecher City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Odin/Patoka/Sandoval back in March, Beecher City came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Altamont Indians on Thursday, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2016.

Beecher City's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Altamont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Beecher City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altamont, they will take on Richland County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
