Recap: Charter Oak Chargers vs. Hemet Bulldogs
On Thursday, Charter Oak came up short against Hemet and fell 34-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Charter Oak has scored all season.
Hemet's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayana Olds led the charge by scoring eight points along with 14 rebounds and six steals. Olds has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaniya Dodson, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Charter Oak's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hemet, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Charter Oak will be home for the holidays to greet Magnolia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hemet's road trip will continue as they head out to face Linfield Christian at 8:00 p.m. on December 21st.
