Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Screven County). Everything went their way against the Savannah Bluejackets on Saturday as Screven County made off with a 19-1 victory. Considering the Gamecocks have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Screven County and bumps their season record up to 14-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Savannah, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Screven County will welcome McIntosh County Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savannah, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jenkins County at 4:30 p.m. on April 9.
