Clinton was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out the Del City Eagles 7-6. The Red Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Clinton and bumps their season record up to 4-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Del City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will face off against El Reno at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Del City, they will square off against Coweta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
