Soccer Game Preview: Lumpkin County vs. East Forsyth

The Lumpkin County Indians will kick their season off against the East Forsyth Broncos on Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m.

East Forsyth gave up the first goal last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past White County 3-2.

The victory got East Forsyth back to even at 1-1.

As for Lumpkin County, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (5-7), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Lumpkin County might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from East Forsyth when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Can Lumpkin County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
