Softball Recap: Timnath Takes a Loss

Timnath lost against Lyons back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cubs took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timnath saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Miller, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Timnath's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Lyons, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Timnath will head out to take on Wellington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cubs will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matches. As for Lyons, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Platte Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
