Recap: Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls vs. Audenried
The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls lost against Audenried back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Archbishop Ryan was beaten by Audenried 70-29. Archbishop Ryan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Audenried's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shayla Smith, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nasiaah Russell , who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Archbishop Ryan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Audenried, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Ryan will challenge Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Audenried, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
