Volleyball Recap: Magee's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seminary, Magee was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Richland Rangers 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Magee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-14, 15-12.

Magee's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Richland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Magee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Jefferson Davis County on the 18th. As for Richland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Forest on the 18th.
