West Hall can bid farewell to their 18-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the East Hall Vikings 12-11. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

West Hall's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 2-21. As for East Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
