Rock Canyon came out on top against Ponderosa on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Jaguars were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Dakota Dugan was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. Lucy Longmire also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rock Canyon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.

Rock Canyon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Ponderosa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Rock Canyon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-5 win against Chaparral on the 17th. As for Ponderosa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against ThunderRidge on the 19th.
