Soccer Game Recap: Sweetwater vs. Brawley

On Monday, Sweetwater and Brawley finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Camila Mendoza was the only thing that stood between Sweetwater and a shutout considering she scored both of Sweetwater's goals. With that big game, she's now up to 43 goals this season.

Sweetwater's draw makes their record 17-3-2 this season. As for Brawley, they moved theirs to 5-13-4.

Sweetwater will play host again and welcome Castle Park, where kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Castle Park is coming into the game with six straight losses on the road, meaning Sweetwater will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Brawley is on the road again on Thursday and plays Imperial at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th.
