Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Finds Playoff Glory Versus San Pedro + How To Watch

Kennedy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the San Pedro Pirates 3-0 on Thursday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Leading Kennedy to victory were Ariana Lopez and Laila Teplin. Lopez had five kills, three digs, and two aces, while Teplin had 17 assists. Lopez has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times she's played.

Kennedy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season. As for San Pedro, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 15-12 record.

Kennedy has already played their next match (against Grant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Pedro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
