Football Game Preview: Piqua Indians vs. Butler Aviators

The Piqua Indians will face off against the Butler Aviators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Piqua and Stebbins had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Piqua was the clear victor by a 30-6 margin over Stebbins on Friday. With Piqua ahead 23-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

A big part of Piqua's victory came down to the chemistry between Chris Davis and his top target Debo Knisley. Davis threw for 117 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes while Knisley rushed for 125 yards.

Meanwhile, while Butler put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for West Carrollton. The Aviators breezed past the Pirates to the tune of 38-0. The Aviators haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Butler's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Piqua, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
