Basketball Recap: Livingston Wolves vs. Pacheco Panthers
Livingston lost against Pacheco back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tatianna Alvarez, who posted 11 points. Alvarez has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Dalia Castro was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.
Sasha Siemiller was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten steals for Pacheco. That's the most points Siemiller has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nikki Nance, who scored nine points and seven rebounds.
Livingston now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Pacheco, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
When Livingston and Pacheco next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Livingston will face off against Ceres and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
