Football Recap: Rosemount Falls to Centennial in First Game of Season

Rosemount had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Cougars. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Rosemount and Centennial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Irish will challenge Eastview at 7:00 p.m. on September 6 with a big rank advantage (43 vs. 196). Meanwhile, Centennial (ranked 30th) will meet Osseo (ranked 171st) at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
