Soccer Recap: Manzano Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Manzano was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Sandia Prep Sundevils finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday.

Layla Vigil and Jessa Malizzo scored all three of Manzano's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

With that draw, Manzano's record moves to 0-2-1. Meanwhile, Sandia Prep's record is now 0-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manzano will face off against Cleveland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sandia Prep, they will take on Hope Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sandia Prep will need to watch out since Hope Christian have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
