Softball Recap: Aurora Comes Up Short

Aurora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Norris Titans.

Aurora now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Norris, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Aurora will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grand Island Central Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on November 6. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Norris, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 loss against Crete on the 10th.
