Softball Recap: North County Has No Trouble Against Jefferson

North County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Jefferson Blue Jays 14-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Madalyn Jaco (So) was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Sophie Rackley (So) also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

North County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Jefferson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

As of now, neither North County nor the Blue Jays have any future games scheduled.
