Baseball Recap: Tri-Cities Takes a Loss

Tri-Cities was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Arabia Mountain Rams. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-7 loss back in March.

Tri-Cities saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Williams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Williams brought in this season.

Tri-Cities' defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Arabia Mountain, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-17.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tri-Cities is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Arabia Mountain will take on rival Dunwoody at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
