Basketball Recap: Conneaut Area Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Conneaut Area can now relate to. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Knights. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 47-39.

Katie Boal continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Franklin, dropping a double-double with 30 points and 13 rebounds. Boal is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 18 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Hanna, who posted eight points.

Conneaut Area's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Conneaut Area nor Franklin have any future games scheduled.
