Meanwhile, John Milledge Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Mount de Sales Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 12-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against John Milledge Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Trinity Christian made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity Christian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
