Basketball Recap: Academy of Careers & Exploration Takes a Loss

Academy of Careers & Exploration was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Lucerne Valley Mustangs and fell 68-6. The Eagle lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 54-42 score last time.

Academy of Careers & Exploration's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lucerne Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Academy of Careers & Exploration will welcome Victor Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lucerne Valley, they will take on University Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
