Soccer Game Preview: Oskaloosa vs. Pella

Oskaloosa is 0-8 against Pella since May of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Dutch at 7:00 p.m. This will be Oskaloosa's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Oskaloosa took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Knoxville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Panthers 1-0 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Pella entered their tilt with Winterset on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies. That's two games straight that Pella have won by exactly two goals.

Pella's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Oskaloosa, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Oskaloosa suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Pella in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
