Softball Recap: Drummond Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

The Drummond Bulldogs got the win against the Glencoe Panthers on Friday by a conclusive 9-1.

Drummond is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Glencoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drummond will venture away from home to face off against Waukomis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glencoe, they will head out to challenge Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
