Soccer Recap: Sequoia Comes Up Short

Sequoia's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Woodside Wildcats by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Ravens have lost by just one goal.

Sequoia has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-2 record this season. As for Woodside, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-4.

Sequoia will take on Menlo-Atherton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sequoia's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Woodside, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Woodside take on the Burlingame at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
