Effingham County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Savannah Country Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Effingham County will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against New Hampstead at 7:00 p.m. Savannah Country Day will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hilton Head Prep at 5:00 p.m. on February 25th.
