Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Jefferson County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Evans Knights, falling 7-1. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in February of 2019.

Jefferson County's goal came courtesy of Chalino Espinoza, who's now up to three this season.

Jefferson County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Evans, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County will venture away from home to challenge Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evans, they will head out to square off against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th.
