Softball Recap: Pittsburg's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pittsburg had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Crowder Demons with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Panthers have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Pittsburg's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Crowder, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Pittsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crowder has already played their next contest (against Graham/Dustin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
