Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

Jefferson County was the 1-0 winner over Swainsboro when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jefferson County Warriors fell just short of the Swainsboro Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Tristan Solis, who's now up to eight this season.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Swainsboro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Jefferson County has already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Northeast on the 4th. As for Swainsboro, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 victory against Lincoln County on the 4th.
