Baseball Recap: Northview Drops Season-High Score on Lithonia

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northview). They never let the Lithonia Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Ryan DiSano looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bryant Gamble, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Pierson, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Northview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Northview's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Lithonia, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Northview will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lithonia: the pair will be back at it again later today.
