Baseball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Takes a Loss

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Allatoona Buccaneers, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 19-0 loss on Friday.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Allatoona, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Southeast Whitfield County will square off against rival Cass at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Allatoona is set to face off against their familiar foe Dalton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Allatoona has won 12 straight at home dating back to last season, while Dalton won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
