Annenberg put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Animo Bunche Stallions to the tune of 49-14. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Stallions are ranked 933rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Annenberg pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Animo Bunche, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Annenberg will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Downtown Magnets at 2:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. After both having extra time off, Animo Bunche and Central City Value will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 2:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
