Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cambridge walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Jones County Greyhounds on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Addy Box looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Claire Meeks, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Skylor Adamski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Cambridge has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Jones County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-8.

As of now, neither Cambridge nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
