Softball Recap: Union County Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Union County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tallulah Falls Indians a 13-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Panthers have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Union County's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Tallulah Falls, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
