Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Fort Madison Bloodhounds, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fort Madison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in April.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Fort Madison, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will host B-G-M at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Fort Madison, they will square off against Mt. Pleasant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
