Soccer Recap: Drew Comes Up Short

After flying high against College Prep last Friday, Drew came back down to earth. The Drew Dragons lost 6-3 to the Head-Royce Jayhawks on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Jayhawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Chem Simpson and Giana Rodriguez scored all three of Drew's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Drew now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Head-Royce, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Drew will welcome International at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Head-Royce, they will be playing at home against Saint Mary's at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Mary's has yet to allow a single goal through four contests this season, a streak Head-Royce will look to end.
