Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Shenango

The third road matchup was the charm for Shenango, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past Beaver County Christian with a 38-33 victory on Wednesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while Beaver County Christian are ranked 245th).

Shenango's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Beaver County Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Shenango didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-17 loss against Neshannock on the 6th. Beaver County Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
