Baseball Game Preview: Oconto Blue Devils vs. Niagara Badgers

The Oconto Blue Devils will square off against the Niagara Badgers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Oconto 4.1, Niagara 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Things were looking good for Oconto after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Kiel by a score of 4-3.

Oconto saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Bailey, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Niagara suffered their biggest loss since April 24, 2025 on Friday. They lost 7-1 to Wabeno/Laona. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Niagara's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Oconto, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10-1.

Everything went Oconto's way against Niagara when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Oconto made off with an 11-0 victory. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Badgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
