Santiago entered their tilt with Corona on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Corona Panthers with a sharp 56-36 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-34 last Thursday.

Corona's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fia Liaga, who posted seven points in addition to ten boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Liaga a new career-high in rebounds. Ava Liaga was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.

Santiago is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Corona, they dropped their record down to 19-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Santiago nor Corona have any future games scheduled.
