Soccer Game Preview: Treutlen vs. Brantley County

The Treutlen Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Brantley County Herons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Treutlen's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Treutlen came up short against Hawkinsville and fell 3-1. One reason for the loss might be the Vikings' aggressive play style: Tyler Gillis and Julian Glass were both handed yellow cards.

Treutlen's goal came courtesy of Johnny Johnson, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Brantley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Effingham County, falling 9-0.

Brantley County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Treutlen, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.
