Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grossmont). Their defense stepped up to hand the El Cajon Valley Braves an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Foothillers needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

As for El Cajon Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Mount Miguel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
