Softball Recap: Pope Triumphs

Pope's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Marist War Eagles by a score of 9-4. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Pope now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Marist, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Pope will venture away from home to take on Roswell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marist, they will host Druid Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the War Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
