Soccer Game Preview: Bassett vs. Workman

The Bassett Olympians will face off against the Workman Lobos at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bassett's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Bassett's offense. They came up short against Ganesha on Friday, falling 12-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Workman). They beat La Puente by a goal, winning 2-1.

Workman's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10-1. As for Bassett, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1.

Bassett skirted past Workman 3-2 in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Will the Olympians repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
