Mackenzie Wills commands the offense for Eagles win

Recap: Princeton Eagles vs. Plumas Charter Warriors

The Princeton Eagles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 30-15 win over Plumas Charter. For Princeton, this counts as revenge for the 33-20 defeat Plumas Charter walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Princeton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mackenzie Wills, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five steals. Wills hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Sissy Winn, who scored seven points along with two steals.

Princeton pushed their record up to 4-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Plumas Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Princeton will challenge Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plumas Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Loyalton at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. Loyalton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 234 points over their last four games.
